Phil Saunders

Hi, I’m Phil — a dedicated sports rehabilitation therapist passionate about helping people recover from injury, overcome pain, and achieve their physical goals. I specialise in injury rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, and strength and conditioning.

Whether you're dealing with a sports-related injury, chronic back or joint pain, or simply want to move and perform better, I offer personalised treatment and rehab tailored to your individual needs. I also hold a Level 4 qualification in Strength and Conditioning, which allows me to seamlessly integrate performance-based training into rehabilitation or general fitness programming.

My approach is hands-on, evidence-based, and shaped by years of experience working with everyone from everyday clients to elite athletes. I’ve had the privilege of working with professional players, including those who’ve represented their countries at World Cups and European Championships

After earning a BSc in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University, Twickenham, I’ve worked in a variety of high-performance settings. This includes time at top-level physiotherapy clinics, as well as roles with Fulham FC, Chelsea FC, Bracknell RFC, and Reading Football Club — where I supported academy players and spent several seasons with the Women’s First Team during their time in the Women’s Super League as a full-time role.

Currently, alongside clinic appointments, I’m the Lead Medic for the Aussie Rules team Wimbledon Hawks and support the GB Bulldogs and GB Swans national squads as well as working with the leading medical care company helping support the medical needs for a number of private schools rugby teams.

This broad experience allows me to confidently diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions — helping clients not only recover but come back stronger.
